La correspondance avec le mat\u00e9riau de la tuyauterie de l'application est parfois utilis\u00e9e comme guide pour la s\u00e9lection de l'alliage du tuyau m\u00e9tallique. Toutefois, cette pratique ne signifie pas n\u00e9cessairement que l'alliage choisi est appropri\u00e9. Le tuyau m\u00e9tallique est fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d'un mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 paroi mince et peut ne pas avoir la m\u00eame dur\u00e9e de vie totale qu'un tube ou un tuyau \u00e0 paroi plus lourde du m\u00eame mat\u00e9riau. Parmi les facteurs \u00e0 prendre en compte lors de la conception d'assemblages de tuyaux m\u00e9talliques figurent la corrosion, l'abrasion et la viscosit\u00e9 du produit transport\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Corrosion<\/h2>\n<p>Le choix du mat\u00e9riau de l'\u00e2me et de la tresse doit tenir compte de la nature corrosive du produit transport\u00e9 par le tuyau et de l'environnement ext\u00e9rieur. La corrosion peut \u00eatre acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e dans de nombreux produits chimiques en pr\u00e9sence de temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>OmegaFlex ne publie pas de donn\u00e9es sur la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion en raison des nombreuses variables pr\u00e9sentes dans les applications de tuyaux m\u00e9talliques. De nombreux documents de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sont disponibles et fournissent des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cises sur la corrosion. Le Corrosion Data Survey publi\u00e9 par la National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l'une des sources d'information sur la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la corrosion.<\/p>\n<h2>Abrasion<\/h2>\n<p>En cas d'abrasion interne, une d\u00e9faillance pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e peut se produire si le fluide est abrasif. L'utilisation d'un rev\u00eatement de verrouillage peut prolonger la dur\u00e9e de vie d'un tuyau. Pour l'abrasion externe, un couvercle de protection peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour prolonger la dur\u00e9e de vie du tuyau.<\/p>\n<h2>Viscosit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>L'\u00e9coulement des fluides visqueux peut \u00eatre am\u00e9lior\u00e9 par l'utilisation d'un tuyau gain\u00e9.
